Peony ‘Festiva Maxima’
Paeonia lactiflora ‘Festiva Maxima’- Family
- Paeoniaceae
- Garden
- Under the walnut tree, Sierras de Córdoba
Field note
My mother gave me her mother’s peonies. More than twenty years have passed, and I didn’t know how old they were: a peony can live for more than a hundred years. They grow in the shelter of my walnut tree, and I wait for them every spring.
